As part of the Data Linkage: Information to Impact conference there are a range of workshops facilitated by leading researchers and data scientists.

Stuart Kinner and Jesse Young will be facilitating a live short course on Using Data Linkage for Research: An Introduction and Primer.
This short course is intended as an introduction to data linkage, for individuals who have limited experience or training but either

(a) are involved in managing or overseeing data linkage projects, and/or

(b) wish to be developing competency in using data linkage for research.

Attendees will develop an appreciation of the key technical and governance issues surrounding linkage and use of administrative data for research purposes. Those wishing to develop high-level competency will be encouraged to pursue further training.

This conference is designed for policymakers, researchers, managers, analysts, and others working in the public sector with an interest in developing an awareness of the life cycle of linked data research.  There is no requirement for prior training or experience, however basic familiarity with research methods is an asset.

Attendees who register now for the IPDLN 2020 Virtual Conference will receive an Early Bird discount of 34% on the standard rate - early bird registration closes on the 27 September 2020 at 8am British Standard Time (UCT +1).
