Summary

This ADR Scotland webinar welcomes current and prospective users to this Scottish dataset, including academic researchers and analysts with an interest in care experienced children, child protection and social work.

Looked After Children Longitudinal Dataset

This webinar will introduce attendees to the Looked After Children Longitudinal Dataset covering the period from August 2008 to July 2019 in Scotland. This session will focus on this specific dataset and will:

  • provide an outline of what’s in the dataset
  • background perspective on how the data has been enhanced
  • showcase ideas and examples for research use and linkage

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to better understand the dataset, its quality and coverage and know how to apply to use the data.
