Administrative data is an invaluable resource for public good. When data from across different areas of the public sector is linked together and made available for research, it can provide crucial insights into how decisions made in one policy area affect people’s experiences in others. This means policy decisions can be taken not in isolation, but with clear view of how different areas of life interact with one another.

The Strategic Hub are hosting an ADR UK showcase event on 9 December on the topic of linked administrative data for policy-relevant research, covering the themes of crime and justice, UK economy and children's outcome.

One of the projects that will be showcased is ADR Scotland’s 'Understanding children's lives & outcomes in Scotland', presented by our academic leads Professor Morag Treanor and Fiona Mitchell. Find out more on the ADR UK website.

Stakeholders, policymakers and data owners from within government and the wider public sector are encouraged to attend – please book via Eventbrite.
