Our research

Our researchers analyse administrative data from across Scotland and the UK, always with the goal of creating benefit for society as a whole.

Our interdisciplinary programme involves cutting-edge research and methods which provide insights into a range of societal issues. Across each of our research strands, we aim to:

  • deliver impact for data owners, policy makers, civil society, and the public;
  • create a transferable body of knowledge and increase the utility of existing data;
  • further methodological innovations, especially in data linkage; and
  • build the capacity and skills of researchers.
