Contact us

The Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research is a multi-institutional centre, hosted within the University of Edinburgh. We work with partners to analyse public sector data for the public good.

You can also sign up to our newsletter to receive regular updates about the centre and administrative data research across Scotland.

Find us

Our main office is on the second floor of the Bayes Centre, Central Campus (map). However, during the pandemic we will continue to follow Scottish Government and University advice, and work from home. Therefore please contact us directly via email (details on our About Us page).

When we return to the Bayes Centre, please come to the reception on the ground floor and you will be directed to our offices.

All of the Central Area is within easy walking distance of the city centre, and it is also well served by other transport options.

  • By car: The Central Area is located on the south side in the city centre. Traffic congestion can be a problem, and parking is strictly controlled.
  • By bus: The Central Area is located on the south side of the city centre and is extremely well served by bus.
  • By bike: Cycling is a cheap, quick and healthy way to get around. There is a network of on and off road cycle routes in Edinburgh. Sheltered bike stands are available.

Disabled access

Our office has an accessible entry way, wide door lifts, disabled parking and accessible toilets. Facilities are in an open plan format with wide corridors, flat floors with no ramps or steps (other than those between floors, where the lifts can be used as an alternative). A desk with variable height settings is available on request. Please contact us for any further information or requirements.
