Our main office is on the second floor (street level entrance) of the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI) building, Central Campus (map). Post-pandemic we have adopted a hybrid model, so are not in the office full-time. Therefore, please contact our Administration Team at scadr@ed.ac.uk, prior to visiting us (find details on our About Us page).

On visiting us at the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI), please come to the reception at the main entrance on Ward 2 (street level entrance) and you will be directed to our offices.

All of the Central Campus Area is within easy walking distance of the city centre, and it is also well served by other transport options.

  • By car: The university's central area is located on the south side of the city centre. Traffic congestion can be a problem and there is no exclusive University parking at EFI.
  • By bus: The area is extremely well served by bus services.
  • By train: Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station is a short walk away.
  • By bike: There is a network of on and off-road cycle routes in Edinburgh. Sheltered bike stands are available near by.

For further guidance on how to book your desk or a meeting room, please speak to Joanna or the EFI reception - EFI.Reception@ed.ac.uk.
