Zhiqiang conducts research in under the centre's lifelong health and wellbeing programme and leads training in use of linked administrative data for social and health research.

He is a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Edinburgh and his research interests include population and health geography, health inequalities, GIS and spatial analysis.
