Emma is a Research Fellow working on the 'understanding children’s lives and outcomes' strand, focusing on inequalities in educational exclusions and absences.

Emma previously worked as part of the Glasgow Brain Injury Research Group, investigating lifelong health outcomes following traumatic brain injury. Prior to that she completed her PhD investigating dementia risk in former professional footballers, MSc in Stratified Medicine, and BSc in Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow.
